The Waterside Retreat is a surprisingly spacious 2 bedroom cottage, sleeping 5, a great place to relax and unwind with family and friends.
Patrolled Blacksmiths Beach is only a 5 minute level walk and the beautiful Swansea Channel is a short stroll across the reserve.
Boats ramps accessing Lake Macquarie and the ocean are less than 100m away.
Sleeping up to 5 people, Waterside Retreat has a modern interior and is deceptively spacious with 2 large bedrooms, a lounge and a front sitting room with divan and easy chair.
Relax with a cuppa and enjoy the view towards the channel from the front porch.
The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has a dishwasher, full size fridge, microwave, upright stove with oven, large bench with stools, breakfast table and Smart TV.

Summary: This is a great place to stay. It's deceptively very spacious and perfect for a family of 5. It is a short walk to everything - the beach, shops, a cool little cafe and an excellent pub. The house was spotless, well furnished and had all the mod-cons we needed. It exceeded our expectations.
